My senior year of college in obtaining my BA in Business & Organizational Management, I wrote a thesis concerning the financial distress of Coach, Inc. during the economic crisis of 2008. This thesis was later presented in Myrtle Beach, SC and published in the SECRA scholarly journal.
In my Lifespan Nutrition class, we were asked to dispute a health claim of our choosing to determine whether there was proper scientific data available to confirm the claim. This debate is on whether Garcinia Cambogia can really aid in achieving weightloss.
In my Vitamins & Minerals class, we were asked to write an essay concerning the issue of malnutrition in Africa and the correlation of nutrient deficiencies and disabilities.
During my Vitamins & Minerals class, we were asked to complete a case study over a topic of our choosing. This case study focuses on the effects of vitamin D on Peripheral Neuropathy and levels of zinc, chromium, and magnesium in patients with Type II Diabetes.
This article focuses on the history and extreme effects of sugar over time.
For Nutritional Counseling class, we had to listen to an audio taped counseling session and then write a bried where we assessed the counselor's strengths and weaknesses and techniques she performed.
In my Clinical Nutrition class, we were asked to write a technical brief of our choosing regarding a nutrition related disease. This brief focuses on the effects of gut bacteria on obesity.
